From Tenant to Dubai Property Investor: Faisal Lone's 16-Year Journey with Black Arrow Real Estate

A relationship that began with renting an apartment in Uptown Mirdif in 2010 has developed into a 16-year Dubai property journey spanning home ownership, property investment and property management.

Faisal Lone's relationship with Black Arrow Real Estate and Imran Khan began in 2010, when he was looking to rent an apartment in Uptown Mirdif, Dubai.

At the time, neither of us could have known that this first rental would be the beginning of a property relationship lasting more than 16 years.

2010: It Started With a Rental in Uptown Mirdif

Faisal first approached Black Arrow Real Estate in 2010 when he needed a property to rent in Uptown Mirdif.

We helped him secure an apartment and complete his rental.

It was a relatively straightforward transaction, but it marked the beginning of a relationship that would continue as Faisal's circumstances and property ambitions changed.

Over the years, we stayed in contact.

And when the time eventually came for Faisal to move from renting property in Dubai to owning it, he returned to the people he already knew and trusted.

2025: From Tenant to Property Owner

Fifteen years after his first transaction with us, Faisal reached an important milestone.

In 2025, he purchased a 2-bedroom apartment in Uptown Mirdif through Black Arrow Real Estate.

There was something particularly satisfying about this transaction for us.

The client we had originally helped as a tenant in 2010 was now purchasing his own property in the same Dubai community.

Faisal already knew Uptown Mirdif and understood the area. Our role was to use our experience of the local property market to help him through the next stage of his journey.

But the story didn't end there.

2026: Becoming a Dubai Property Investor

The following year, Faisal decided to invest again.

This time, he looked beyond Uptown Mirdif and purchased a 1-bedroom apartment in Dubai South through Black Arrow Real Estate.

The nature of our conversations had changed considerably since 2010.

Sixteen years earlier, the question had been about finding the right property to rent.

Now we were discussing property ownership, investment and building assets in different areas of Dubai.

Faisal had progressed from tenant to property owner and then to repeat Dubai property investor.

For us, that progression represents one of the most rewarding aspects of working in real estate.

The Relationship Continues With Property Management

Purchasing an investment property isn't necessarily the end of the process.

An investment property needs to be managed, maintained and rented effectively.

Today, Black Arrow Real Estate also manages Faisal's investment property, meaning our involvement continues well beyond the purchase itself.
